The Budget Committee is made up of the full City Council and an equal number of Jefferson citizens.  Meetings begin at 6pm and usually start in late April or early May of each year.  By law, the City Council must adopt the budget no later than June 30th of each year.

FY 2018-19 Budget Data

6/7/18: The Budget Committee voted to APPROVE the FY 2018-19 Budget during their second meeting on June 4, 2018, with some changes from the initial proposed budget.  FY 2018-19 Approved Budget

6/14/18: Notice of City Council Public Hearing for FY 2018-19 Budget Adoption - LB-1 Form

6/29/18: The City Council held a public hearing at their regular Council meeting on June 28, 2018 to consider the FY 2018-19 approved budget.  A unanimous vote was cast to ADOPT the budget, as recommended by the Budget Committee.
